Workforce Readiness: GED® Prep Comprehensive

The GED® Prep Comprehensive course is an interactive learning experience designed to help students achieve success on the GED® test.  Preparing for the GED® test may seem like a daunting task.  The Workforce Readiness: GED® Prep Comprehensive course offers students a useful and easy-to-follow guide through all five of the content areas covered on the GED® test:  language arts; writing and reading; social studies; science; and mathematics.

The Workforce Readiness: GED® Prep Comprehensive course addresses the following primary objectives:

• Provide feedback to students in order to help them determine if they are ready to take the GED® test
• Improve students’ GED® test score with effective test-taking skills
• Develop essential language and math skills to prepare for these content areas of the test
• Identify students’ content area strengths and weaknesses, so students can focus and study more effectively
• Learn valuable tips for writing an effective essay
• Interpret questions effectively to make the best use of allotted test times
• Prepare for the actual test day
