The Workforce Readiness: Flexibility and Adaptability course provides students with an overview of the principal areas of flexibility and adaptability that are crucial to remaining competitive in today’s rapidly changing workplace.
Audience: The target audience for the Workforce Readiness: Flexibility and Adaptability course are individuals who are transitioning into a new career field after 10 or more years in another career, as well as individuals who are new or returning to the workforce.
The Workforce Readiness: Flexibility and Adaptability course will address the following primary course objectives:
- Describe advantages of flexibility at work
- Identify the characteristics of adaptable people
- Identify adaptation techniques
- Describe the importance of incorporating different types of feedback
- Define ways to manage change
- Identify signs of depression related to change at work
