MS Outlook

The Microsoft Office suite of applications is one of the most widely used pieces of software in the world. Whether used for professional, academic or home purposes, every entity utilizes some part of the Microsoft Office suite, whether for Apple or PC. E-mail is used every day across all academic and professional entities. Individuals need an effective and adaptive method for managing the amount of e-mail that comes in, as well as an easy way to keep track of various contacts created and calendar events and tasks. Microsoft Outlook allows users to easily work through their day. Students will learn to create and respond to e-mail, add multiple recipients, and format e-mails. Students will also learn to attach files and other items to their e-mails so that recipients can open and view different documents and files that the user wishes to share. Additionally, students will learn how to maintain their calendar, schedule meetings with other users, and keep track of coworkers’ calendars as well. Students will also learn how to create tasks and to-do lists, checking off these items as they are completed. Microsoft Outlook allows students to organize their day, keep track of their appointments, and communicate effectively with other coworkers and contacts in one organized and powerful interface. This course will ensure students understand how the Outlook interface interacts with the other Microsoft Office applications to ensure the most productive day.
